Speare, LLC Reinvents the Word Processor with Launch of Latest Writing Tool

Offering a thought processor as opposed to a traditional word processor gives users an entirely new way to approach writing, publishes speare.com

Following the invention of the typewriter back in the early 1800s, a number of advancements came to pass. Rudimentary versions of the machine transitioned into more portable and practical models, ultimately giving rise to electric ones. During the 1960s, the word processor entered the mix. This technology offered a number of benefits over its predecessors, and progressive versions of the concept remain in use even today. Still, they also fall short in certain respects. With this in mind Speare, LLC has decided to reinvent the word processor.

Earlier this week, Kent Sisco, Co-founder of Speare, LLC, launched the latest version of the company's Writing tool for creative thinking. "While AI has made incredible strides in grammar, punctuation, and spelling correction, it does very little in the way of helping people organize their thoughts and ideas into coherent writing," said Sisco. "We designed Speare to help people go from the blank page to the last sentence in their final draft and all the steps in between as efficiently as possible by giving them an interface that lets them write, rearrange, and revise their thoughts and ideas quickly and easily into shareable content."

Speare is a new category of writing tool called a "thought processor". It is designed to help people get their thoughts and ideas written down and to help them organize and revise these bits of information into clear and logical output. The Speare interface encapsulates what users write in movable, editable building blocks positioned on side-by-side boards that can be rearranged and compiled to create written content.

Speare beats writer's block by allowing users to write down thoughts as they come rather than attempting to mentally organize ideas before transferring them to written form. From there, those disconnected ideas can be rearranged and joined as needed to form a coherent written article, report or other type of document. Speare's inaugural version was released in November, 2018 and received considerable acclaim.

Concluded Sisco, "Thought is the foundation of all writing; of course, the difficulty we run into when writing is that thoughts come disconnected, disorganized and at random times. Speare helps combat this issue, giving users the opportunity to capture their thoughts as they come and revamp them later on. Our goal is to become the best productivity software for twenty-first century businesses as well as other users, and the latest version of our writing tool falls right in line with this objective."

Further details regarding Speare can be found on the company website. Informational and instructional Speare Videos have likewise been made available.
