BioNeutral Group, Inc. (OTCBB: BONU), a chemical technology-based Life Science company that intends to commercialize a novel combinational chemistry-based technology, today announced that the Company has appointed Dr. Albert Montague, P.E., P.P., a former Senior Environmental Specialist for the United States Environmental Protection Agency, to the Scientific Advisory Board.
Dr. Montague’s leadership skills, integrity and the skillful leveraging of available resources to achieve program goals have established him as a successful environmental engineer, government senior executive and manager. Between June 2004 and June 2006, he was the Director for the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene for the City of New York, directing public health engineering and safety programs. Dr. Montague focused on potable and wastewater quality, security of the municipal infrastructure, i.e., water supply distribution system including residential, commercial, and industrial buildings, beach (marine) water quality, indoor water and sewage complaints, permits and enforcement. He also secured federal grant for the department.
For over 30 years, Dr. Montague worked for the United States Environmental Protection Agency in various positions including Senior Environmental Specialist, Regional Solid Waste Manager and Chief Engineer for the Division of Waste Management. He has successfully developed and implemented the first regional business compliance assistance program in the country to improve environmental compliance in the private sector. Dr. Montague also assisted the Agency’s Municipal Solid Waste Task Force to develop and implement the Agenda-for-Action and developed cost-effective solutions to remediate hazardous waste sites that required working knowledge of the CAA, CERCLA and SARA cleanups. Dr. Montague directed and successfully planned the multi-media aspects and activities of the Bureau's: Hazardous Waste Engineering, Solid Waste Facility Review, Sanitary Landfill Closure and Resource Recovery.
