Chicago-based Hanold Associates has been tapped for Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) searches with Travelzoo, REZ-1, Tradeshift and Charter NEX Films. The roles span a variety of industries and include both North American and global responsibilities.

Jason Hanold, Neela Seenandan and Katrina Prospero lead the search for the role based in Travelzoo’s corporate headquarters in New York City, New York.

Reporting into the Global Head of Business Services, Stephen Dunk, the Head of HR, North America will support Travelzoo’s North America leadership team. ­­­They will also provide business partner support to functional heads of Service, Finance, Technology and Product positions based in North America and will be the critical leader of talent acquisition across 10 offices in the U.S. and Canada.

REZ-1 was established in 1994 and is built on a foundation of industry experience and technical expertise. For over 20 years, they have provided critical container inventory, reservation and financial settlement solutions to North American railroads, intermodal marketing companies and motor carriers. In 2014, DCLI, the leading chassis provider in North America, acquired REZ-1 to assist in the improvement of customer experience, reporting and forecasting. REZ-1 works as a neutral third party that specializes in system integration and tailored solutions in the intermodal marketplace.

The REZ-1 CHRO search is led by Hanold Associates partners Katrina Prospero and Mayank Parikh.

The REZ-1 CHRO will report to CEO, Pervinder Johar, and will serve as a crucial thought partner and collaborator with overall responsibility for all HR activities. They will leverage existing processes from parent company DCLI while also partnering with them to develop enterprise-wide talent management, leadership development, succession management and talent acquisition strategies and initiatives. They will shape and deploy a human capital strategy to support rapid business transformation while also ensuring a strong bench of talent is continually being developed for REZ-1. The role is located in the company’s headquarters in Pleasanton, California (San Francisco Bay area).

Keri Gavin and Katie Traines lead the search for the role that will report to Chief of Staff & SVP of Strategy and Process, Anja Moller Eriksen, and operate from the Tradeshift headquarters in San Francisco, California.

The CHRO will be instrumental in operationalizing Tradeshift’s cultural values across the company’s global footprint and will have a unique opportunity to participate in scaling a 7-year-old, multi-million-dollar market leader up to, and through, a successful IPO.

PE Firms Leonard Greene and Oak Hill Capital are respective majority and minor stakeholders in Charter NEX Films.

Hanold Associates partners Jason Hanold, Keri Gavin and Karlis Antons are leading the search for the role based in Madison, Wisconsin.

Reporting to Chief Executive Officer, Kathy Bolhous, the Charter NEX Films Chief Human Resources Officer will play a critical, strategic and highly involved role as a member of the senior leadership team in building out the human resources infrastructure for scalable growth. They will be responsible for aligning human resources activity with an aggressive growth business strategy.
