World Diva Rose Jang Sings For New 7 Wonders of Nature at Lincoln Center

President Lee Myung-Bak blessed Rose Jang’s Concert for the New 7 Wonders of Nature on Wednesday, November 9, 2011, 7:30 PM at Lincoln Center’s newly renovated Alice Tully Hall. Singing at this televised concert is Korean-American Ambassador and world-renowned pop opera vocalist Rose Jang who has held many accolades in pop, musical, and operatic music. Jang has performed with the legendary Grammy award-winning Platinum artist Patti Labelle, and has performed for numerous presidents, dignitaries, and world leaders. She has been a spokesmodel for LANCÔME cosmetics and was featured in Elle, Vogue, and Marie Claire magazines. The concert will support voting for South Korea’s Jeju Island, the Dead Sea of Israel, and the United States’ Grand Canyon of Arizona. Votes must be cast by November 11, 2011.

Diva Rose Jang has helped to globalize Korea through music. As an Ambassador for Korean Tourism and as a former Ambassador for UNESCO, Jang has performed at several FIFA World Cup Games encouraging friendship and diplomacy. Broadcast in over 170 countries, South Korea’s Arirang TV has placed her among the “10 Most Shining Stars” of 2010. In 2009, South Korea awarded Jang with the “Most Successful Artist of the Year” award. She has worked with Manchester United’s football midfielder Ji-Sung Park, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward, English pop opera tenor Paul Potts, French Nobel Laureate J.M.G. Le Clézio, and professional golfer Y.E. Yang, all of whom are Ambassadors for Jeju Island. Through her voice, Jang invites the people of South Korea, Israel, and the United States of America to unite at Lincoln Center Plaza on November 9th to vote for the World’s New 7 Natural Wonders.
