Bluehalo Unveils Smart Hardware and System That Transfers Files between OSs

A trio of smart accessories that make it easier to transfer media files between Windows, MacOS and iOS devices is showcased by Bluehalo at CES 2017.

The Halos Smart Cable and Halos Smart Flash Drive eliminate the hassle of using a PC to transfer files between smartphones and tablets. The Halos Booster for Windows PC can remove junk files and improve speeds by up to 300% to return devices close to their out-of-the-box state.

Lightning USB 3.0 dual interface enables viewers to take photos without storage restrictions, free up space on iPhones, iPads, and watch videos offline. Media files can be managed between iPhone, iPod, Mac and Windows PC devices.

The Halos Smart Cable and Halos Smart Flash Drive are powered by AI technology and Bluehalo’s Halos open system, which works with any hardware brand, controller and chips.

Job Qin, CEO of Bluehalo, explains: “Many devices operate closed systems that require bespoke programmes to access the content. For example, iTunes is needed to transfer files between iPhones, iPods or iPads. The Halos open system software means files can be transferred quickly between devices of different operating systems.”

“The Halos system also provides an alternative application choice for smart device manufacturers, and reduces the amount of time a product takes from R&D to release, which improves competitiveness.”
