JMAR's BioSentry(TM) To Be Used in Water Safety Program In Switzerland

JMAR Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB:JMAR), a leading developer of advanced laser, photonics and detection technologies, announced today that it has received a purchase order from Aquatech Solutions GmbH for two BioSentry Systems. Aquatech is JMARs distributor for the BioSentry in Switzerland and Germany, and the two systems will be included in a water safety evaluation program being conducted near Chiasso, Switzerland.

Aquatech, a manufacturer and distributor of water process equipment in Europe, has partnered with the Swiss company von Roll to produce a multi-parameter chemical water surveillance system, the Hydrobox. The system integrates a host of sensors from a variety of manufacturers into a single, modular device. Each system is interconnected via proprietary monitoring and control software. Hydrobox, combined with JMARs BioSentry, provides broad spectrum protection for both chemical and biological contaminants in potable water systems.

The combined HydroBox/BioSentry system is just what the European market is looking for, stated Aquatech CEO Alejandro Schnyder. We see great potential for our combined technologies and a successful, long relationship with JMAR.

Thanks to new financing, JMAR is implementing several product improvements needed by municipalities, so we are very pleased to have the BioSentry included with the Hydrobox system, stated Neil Beer, JMARs President and CEO. We believe this combination of robust chemical and real-time biological monitoring will provide the water utility industry their best defense against contamination events.
