Red Rock Duo Launches New Selfie Stick Bluetooth Model For 2015

Red Rock Duo, a Layton, Utah company, recently announced the launch of their newest selfie stick. The stick is Bluetooth enabled, offering users more flexibility when taking selfies.

"We are excited to present our newest selfie stick model, available for 2015," states Renee of Red Rock Duo. Our customers can learn more about this and our other models by visiting our Facebook page."

Selfie sticks, also known as monopods, are telescopic devices that clip to smartphones, allowing users to take better selfie pictures. The sticks gained popularity recently when they were named one of the best inventions of 2014 by TIME magazine.

Selfie sticks are designed to clip to a phone, allowing more than an arm's length of space between the camera and the picture subject. Many smartphone owners are finding them more than effective when taking a selfie.

Maryann, a fashion designer up and comer, uses her selfie stick for marketing purposes. "I needed to be able to grab an image of an entire outfit, which is really not doable with a regular camera, especially when I have to hold my smartphone in order to use the camera. The selfie stick allows me to span out far enough to capture everything from my hat to my shoes, and I can instantly share my design on all my social media outlets."

The selfie, which is now an official word in dictionaries, has become very popular over the past few years. Social media sites like Facebook are bombarded with selfies of users every day and although smartphones today have very high quality cameras, they don't offer a way to span out and include more than just one person's face. Enter the selfie stick.

"These things are great," says an avid selfie taker in NYC. "I can get so much in the background now, and really show people what I'm up to when I'm snapping my selfie."

Red Rock Duo recently released their newest model, which is available for purchase now. Customers are finding it quite effective in taking their selfies, and the Bluetooth capability makes it an essential tool for social media image capturing.
