Mr. Gross will draw on his over 35 years experience as a board-certified civil trial lawyer in the state of Florida and he has handled thousands of automobile negligence cases. Each of these Supreme Court cases has a unique lesson that personal injury lawyers can use in their practice. Mr. Gross graduated magna cum laude in 1976 from the Washington University, St Louis, Missouri. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Florida State University College of Law, Tallahassee, Florida. He is a State Certified Arbitrator, Board Certified, Civil Trial Lawyer, Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and Education, and AV Rated. The second hour will taught by Charles A. Schuster. He will expound upon crime victim compensation, worker’s comp liens and proposal for settlement rule; (less trials, more appeals).  Mr. Schuster will be sharing some great insights and says “The Crime Victim Compensation Fund is a little used tool in personal injury that can assist our clients in paying their bills, getting medical treatment and rebuilding their lives while their personal injury claim progresses.”

Mr. Schuster brings a plethora of real world, trial and settlement experience.  After graduating from Florida State College of Law with Honors, he started his career as a trial lawyer with the oldest defense firm in Florida advancing to become a partner. In that position he was engaged in a myriad of personal injury claims including auto accidents, personal water craft and boat accidents, slip and fall accidents and other premises liability claims, negligent security claims, product liability claims including asbestos and medical malpractice claims. Mr. Schuster became a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator in 1991 and assisted hundreds of parties in reaching fair settlements of their personal injury claims. Mr Schuster has lectured in the field of medical malpractice and effective mediation. He is an ardent motorcyclist and has a passionate interest in representing the victims of motorcycle accidents. Mr. Schuster was Board Certified as a specialist in Civil Trial Law by the Florida Bar in 1988 and has been certified as a Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy since 1990.

The continuing education will wrap up with the final hour seminar taught by Mr. Gross and it will cover a menagerie of personal injury practice tips. These are those unique, quirky situations that have come up over the years in and out of the court room. Mr. Gross has tried more than 100 jury trials and you will be astounded by some of the issues that have occurred.
